About ARSSF

The ARS Scientists Forum was created and registered as a society in 1980 (Reg. No. SR/ARSSF-164/80 - Regd. under Societies Reg. Act, XXI of 1860). In 1995, ICAR recognised it as a formal body representing the interests and voice of Scientists working with ICAR institutions across India. Aims and Objectives

Cultivating a Tradition of Excellence: ARSSF endeavors to cultivate a culture and outlook within the agricultural scientific community that embodies excellence, professionalism, and commitment to the advancement of agricultural research.

Promotion of Agricultural Research: We are committed to promoting and advancing agricultural research in India by facilitating collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the dissemination of best practices among scientists working within ICAR institutions and beyond.

Advocacy and Policy Influence: ARSSF seeks to actively engage scientists in the formulation and execution of agricultural research policies at the national level. By advocating for the interests of agricultural research scientists, we aim to contribute to the development of policies that foster innovation, sustainability, and growth in the agricultural sector.

Welfare and Protection: ARSSF is dedicated to safeguarding the interests and welfare of Agricultural Research Service Scientists, ensuring their well-being and professional development.
